Description

You are an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Representative and are looking to join a dynamic team? Hartco is currently looking for a successful candidate who will provide leadership in the accounts receivable team as part of the Shared Services group. As an accounting team member, you will participate in different functional areas of accounting. This position is a stepping stone for attaining future career opportunities within the organization. The person will be working out of the Anjou office.

Responsibilities

The person will be responsible for contacting customers to ensure prompt payment of invoices; reconciling an accounts receivable portfolio of commercial accounts; generating and reporting monthly revenue amounts; and maintaining customer accounts and information in the Great Plains financial system. The job incumbent will act as the first point of contact for any billing disputes and escalate when necessary.

Qualifications and Requirements

College diploma (DEC) and 5 years of experience in a similar position
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Prior working experience in a Shared Service environment would be an asset
Experience with Great Plains software would be an asset
Good analytical skills
Good attention to detail
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to work in a team environment
