Description

The supervisor, configuration centre is responsible for managing and delivering configured hardware material for Hartco’s client in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

  • Guide clients on image creation best practice;
  • Participate with clients for deployment project planning to ensure optimal service delivery;
  • Manage and / or create deployment, systems information and asset tag logs in SQL data base;
  • Create and update build processes for clients;
  • Troubleshoot and fix technical issues with client hardware;
  • Ensure services are delivered in a timely fashion to respect departmental SLA;
  • Optimize department processes to ensure constant efficiencies and quality control;
  • Share best practices with configuration service technicians and contribute to a positive and productive work environment;
  • Prepare, review and distribute periodic reporting to the management including periodic performance metrics (KPI’s);

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Diploma of College Studies (2 or 3 year DEC) in relevant study or equivalent experience,
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT role, including at least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead,
  • Strong project management skills,
  • Certification A+ and Server+ an asset
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows-7, Windows 2008 server,
  • Linux and MCSE certification would be an asset,
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French,
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
  • Strong interpersonal skills,
  • Customer service oriented skills,
  • Proven aptitudes for team work and personnel management,
  • Ability to evaluate and manage priorities.
