Description
The supervisor, configuration centre is responsible for managing and delivering configured hardware material for Hartco’s client in a timely manner.
Responsibilities
Guide clients on image creation best practice;
Participate with clients for deployment project planning to ensure optimal service delivery;
Manage and / or create deployment, systems information and asset tag logs in SQL data base;
Create and update build processes for clients;
Troubleshoot and fix technical issues with client hardware;
Ensure services are delivered in a timely fashion to respect departmental SLA;
Optimize department processes to ensure constant efficiencies and quality control;
Share best practices with configuration service technicians and contribute to a positive and productive work environment;
Prepare, review and distribute periodic reporting to the management including periodic performance metrics (KPI’s);
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma of College Studies (2 or 3 year DEC) in relevant study or equivalent experience,
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an IT role, including at least 2 years of experience as a Team Lead,
Strong project management skills,
Certification A+ and Server+ an asset
Advanced knowledge of Windows-7, Windows 2008 server,
Linux and MCSE certification would be an asset,
Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook),
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French,
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail,
Strong interpersonal skills,
Customer service oriented skills,
Proven aptitudes for team work and personnel management,
Ability to evaluate and manage priorities.
