Act as a first point of contact for Hartco’s business systems users. Provide first & second level technical support & incident resolution. Record pertinent details in an incident tracking system and insure problems/incidents for all business systems, infrastructure and applications are resolved within established service level timeframes.
Creates and updates tasks and knowledge base articles in a detailed and consistent fashion.
Resolve cases in compliance with our SLA.
Hands-on and on-site assistance for all IT related tasks.
Updates IT inventory database.
Greets and assists all end users who arrive at the IT Department in person.
Provides startup training for common IT applications.
Prepares and updates training packages for all common IT applications.
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma of College Studies (2 or 3 year DEC) in Information Technology
Two to Five years of related working experience
Proven ability to multitask in a busy, diverse, client-oriented office environment
Takes pride in seeing a job complete and well done
An appreciation for how technology serves the end user, especially in the following areas: Microsoft desktop environments, Ticketing systems and case management
Advanced telephone customer service skills
Maintains professional conduct during intense and stressful work periods
Time-conscious and reliable
Proactive and organized
Bilingual – spoken and written
Availability to work occasionally evenings and weekends
