Description

The Project manager, Finance is responsible for the overall implementation of the financial module of AX Harmony project and will work closely with the PMO on the financial issues and processes related to all modules of the project. The Project manager, Finance will also ensure that project deliverables are met within budget and on a timely basis.

Responsibilities

  • Join forces with the project leadership team to develop the business strategy and assume accountability for the successful delivery of the ERP system;
  • Accountable for the delivery of the financial module of the ERP project;
  • Provide expertise on various accounting or financial issues related the project;
  • Improve/ e-engineer existing business processes;
  • Work with the PMO to implement best practices for the financial issues relating to each module as well as for the financial module itself;
  • Ensure compliance IFRS and well as with company and regulatory requirements;
  • Manage a team of 2 accounting analysts dedicated to the project.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree in accounting or in business,
  • Designation of CMA, CA, or CGA required,
  • Minimum eight (8) years of relevant financial and management work experience,
  • Proven ability to work effectively within all levels in the organization, and with a diverse range of clients,
  • Excellent executive-level presentations,
  • Excellent planning, organizational and project management skills,
  • Excellent process skills and exceptional attention to and management of details,
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills,
  • Ability to simultaneously and effectively manage diverse responsibilities and assignments while maintaining a high level of quality,
  • Excellent initiative and outstanding work ethic,
  • Common sense and good judgment,
  • Uncompromising values: respect, integrity, trust, excellence,
  • Strong entrepreneurial spirit and proven ability as a change agent,
  • Strong PC-based skills, including MS Project, Visio, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint, Word.
