The Accounting Analyst is responsible for monthly closing of books. The Accounting Analyst is in charge of analyzing and communicating the results to the management of the division.


  • Prepare and analyze the financial statements;
  • Diligent review of results and explain variances to the management team;
  • Participate in the budget production and analyze variances on a monthly basis;
  • Put in place detailed analysis for critical items; revenues/margins by business units, type of services, cost centers and ensure accuracy of the financial information;
  • Participate in the preparation of balance sheet reviews and follow-up;
  • Contact person for the business unit for accounting issues and reports;
  • Support the Business Analysts for different analysis;
  • Participate in special projects and answer to punctual requests from the management team;
  • Participate in the annual year-end external audit.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree in accounting;
  • Designation CMA, CA, or CGA;
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience, in particular within a service provider, software provider, or reseller;
  • Must be pro-active and versatile;
  • Must be able to work effectively with others at all levels;
  • Ability to work in an environment in constant evolution;
  • Ability to work with tools to automate manual processes and improve productivity;
  • Demonstrated integrity;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Power Point);
  • Knowledge of AX, Great Plains, and Outlooksoft an asset;
  • Bilingual (French and English), written and spoken.
