The Vice President, Finance & Chief Financial Officer (CFO) leads all activities related to Hartco’s finance, administration and investor relations.


  • Ensure consolidation and preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and reports.
  • Ensure compliance of financial reporting with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage accounting function, including: bookkeeping; accounts receivable; accounts payable; sales and business tax filings; regulatory reporting and filing.
  • Manage the relationship with the company's auditor.
  • Actively participate in the development of the company's business plan, including: performance objectives, strategic priorities, and financial budget. This critical responsibility requires working within a defined and time sensitive process.
  • Participate in the assessment of strategic business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions.
  • Represent the Company in external business relationships and negotiations with partners and suppliers where such contacts are critical to the company's success.
  • Collaborate with business groups and partner companies to identify support needs and coordinate resources to meet their requirements.
  • Develop, implement, communicate and maintain all necessary standards, policies and procedures as they relate to capital and operating expenses.
  • Establish quality and performance standards in relevant areas, and strive for continuous improvements.
  • Maintain on a continuous basis an organizational structure and staffing plan that meets the ongoing needs of the company.
  • Contribute to an organizational climate conducive to maximizing employee potential, productivity and retention of key personnel.
  • Ensure that all necessary reporting requirements in terms of financial performance are prepared to the highest quality standards and delivered in a consistent and timely manner as required by management.
  • Collaborate with the Chairman and the President, to manage public and investor relations and build the company's image.
  • Ensure that all necessary Board of Director and regulatory reporting requirements are met.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • University degree (MBA, CA).
  • Minimum 15 years work experience demonstrating progressively more responsibilities, accountabilities and leadership experience, with history of significant accomplishments.
  • Minimum 5 years executive experience leading a team of accounting/finance professionals.
  • Public company experience is essential.
  • M&A experience.
  • Good understanding of the information and communication technology industry.
