Technical Sales Specialist (Lenovo)

Hartco Distribution, a subsidiary of Hartco Inc. (TSX: HCI), is Canada's largest franchisor of IT solution providers and value-added resellers (VARs) with 49 locations operating under the names of MicroAge and Metafore from coast to coast.


The Technical Sales Specialist (Lenovo) is responsible for liaising with account managers and clients directly, to identify client requirements, and collaborate with both internal and external resources. They will engage the MicroAge Network to sell Lenovo server and storage solutions to their SMB clients as well as train and support the Network.


  • Train the MicroAge Network and their clients on Lenovo servers, workstations, and storage solutions
  • Meet predefined sales objectives
  • Organize seminars to present Lenovo products and solutions
  • Visit clients with external sales representatives to close sales

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in information systems or business management
  • Five years of experience in the IT industry and knowledge of server and storage solutions
  • Must be bilingual
  • Capacity to deliver presentations and trainings in French and English
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with emphasis on listening, verbal and written communication capabilities
  • Good understanding of clients, business acumen and ability to adapt to clients' needs
  • Ready to travel across Canada
