    Kid & Pet-Friendly Hardwood Flooring

Dogwood Pro densified real hardwood flooring is 4X more scratch resistant and 6X more dent resistant than typical hardwood. It not only fends off damage and gouges from your pets but also handles the challenging activity of kids and their toys. The engineered hardwood withstands the heaviest foot traffic while delivering waterproof protection. So, sit back, relax, and never be afraid of indoor playtime on your hardwood floors.

100% Real Hardwood Flooring, Only Better

Dogwood Pro’s densified wood doesn’t use fillers, plastics, or harsh chemicals to harden wood. Instead, it’s 100% real hardwood flooring, only better. That’s because the manufacturing process more than doubles the hardness of the wood flooring. So, you can use it in your home’s most demanding rooms without concern.

    Waterproof Engineered Hardwood Flooring

Dogwood Pro delivers waterproof protection*, so spills, sloshy pet bowls, and even the occasional pet accident won’t damage your wood floors. It’s 100% pet-friendly hardwood flooring. And because it’s engineered hardwood, you can install it anywhere in your home, even in your basement. It’s great for kitchens and bathrooms, too.

Engineered Hardwood with Cleantivity™ Antimicrobial Protection

As an added benefit, these pet-friendly hardwood floors feature our new Cleantivity™ antimicrobial coating technology that inhibits the growth of bacteria that can cause odor, and mold and mildew that can damage the floor. So, you’ll have fewer concerns about damage to your real hardwood floors, even if you can’t get to a spill or accident immediately.

Where Can I Install This Floor?

Install this flooring product on any level of your home
Below/On/Above Ground Level

Installation Methods

Floating

Flooring is glued together and floats on top of the subfloor. An underlayment pad is rolled out over the subfloor to protect against moisture and improve sound transmission. If the flooring has a pad attached, an underlayment is not required.

Glue

Adhesive is spread onto the subfloor using a trowel. Flooring is then placed into the adhesive.

Staple

Hardwood flooring is mechanically fastened to the wood subfloor using staples, cleats or nails. This is the most popular and economical installation method.
